Yes. Smart Progression works with smart-generated programs, altered smart-generated programs, and customized programs.
Smart Progression is based on what you log during your training sessions, not on how the program was created or organized.
If you edit a smart-generated program by changing exercises, adjusting sets or reps, or modifying RIR targets, Smart Progression will adapt to the new structure.
Smart Progression does not change your program’s exercises. Once a program is created, whether generated or custom-built, the exercises remain the same.
If you change sets, reps, or RIR targets, future recommendations will reflect those changes.
Smart Progression is not the same as periodization. Smart Progression adjusts recommendations based on what you log, but it does not change your program structure. If you want your sets, reps, or RIR to change week to week, you need to enable periodization in a customized program. Smart-generated programs apply periodization automatically.
