If you long-press on the MacroFactor icon from your phone's home screen, a menu will pop up, allowing you to launch directly into MacroFactor's barcode scanner, food search, or weight logging interface. This saves a bit of time versus loading the app, and then selecting one of these actions from the quick actions menu, or your custom toolbar.

For now, you can’t configure these options to enable other launch points. We selected barcode scanning, food search, and weight logging as the three default long-press actions, because those are the three most common actions users take. In the future, we may make long-press actions configurable.
