# Can I Backfill Past Workouts To Have Training History?

You can backfill training history by logging workouts manually.

You can backfill workouts by manually logging sessions and setting the workout date to when they actually occurred. Note: While you can backfill workout data, you cannot import data from other workout apps at this time.

A common approach is to:

1. [Create a program](https://help.macrofactorapp.com/en/articles/286-create-a-new-program-via-build-from-scratch.md) that reflects what you have been training recently.

2. [Log workouts](https://help.macrofactorapp.com/en/articles/310-how-to-log-a-workout.md) based on memory, notes, or another app.

3. Adjust dates and durations so they reflect when the sessions actually occurred.

Doing this will fill in your performance data and provide quicker insight into your training progress in MacroFactor Workouts.
